Money Thinking
Money thinking is the right way to think about money.
You're probably wondering what the wrong way is, so here are some examples: Rich people are greedy. Money is the root of all evil. You have to work hard and sacrifice to make money. Filthy rich. We can't afford that. Have any of these thoughts ever crossed your mind? If you attract what you focus on and these are your thoughts, what are you attracting? It sure isn't money. How about the following thoughts: Rich people are generous. Money is good. Money comes easily to me. Wonderfully rich. We can afford it. Much better isn't it? It's even more fun to read. This is how we want all of our thoughts - positive and abundant. I really struggled with the word rich. I associated being rich with being greedy. If I said I want to be rich, I cringed. I had to work on this, change my way of thinking and tell myself that being rich was a good thing. Most of the people I know have some form of negative money thinking. Do you? Be honest with yourself, and start working on changing it. Do it in small steps, I did. I first started saying: I want lots of money.....then .....I'm going to be wealthy.....then....I'm going to be really rich. It didn't change over night for me. It was a process (the example is my condensed version), it actually took a few months. Now when I talk about being rich I have a big smile. Think about money in a positive way - focus on what you want.
From money thinking to abundant thinking.
